Shazam

The unusual name for the Shazam Collection originated from a conversation.  Designer Andrew Glassford was describing his vision for a new design to his Head of Manufacturing. Pointing to his sketches, with fire in his eyes he passionately described how he wanted his designs to come to life… “The stone is the center… picture rays of light exploding from the center… envision the transformation of light… I want to create intense energy that emanates from the middle of each piece… Shazam!”

Shazam is a word that stimulates one’s senses… a flash of bright light… a sound – ‘Ka-Pow’… it evokes powerful feelings – of excitement, magic, transformation, raw energy. ‘Shazam’ captures the essence of this creative, spirited collection in which each piece exuberantly and vibrantly radiates beauty and light from its center.
