These spectacular earrings are actually two pairs of earrings in one! The Art Deco inspired stud in 18k Yellow Gold features Diamond Solitaires surrounded by two rings of Black Enamel. The detachable drops feature two Oval Diamonds and 12.83 ctw of Sleeping Beauty Turquoise. Total diamond weight is 1.13 ctw.

Turquoise is known for its delightful warmth, rich beauty and energy benefits. Sleeping Beauty Turquoise is especially beautiful and special as it was mined in Arizona, however no longer open to mine turquoise -this oval cabochon was created from old rough purchased prior to 2012.

This piece is part of the Museum Series, a multi-generational collection which reflects designer Andrew Glassford’s penchants for travel, love of Art Deco, and use of architectural elements in his creations. The inspiration for this series came from an unlike source – a hallway. In 2016, designer Andrew Glassford visited the newly opened ‘Overseas Chinese Fine Arts Museum’ in Guilin China, where he was awestruck the hallways – the ‘zoulang,’ – which connected the multiple gallery buildings around a central garden, in the traditional Siheyuan (Courtyard House) architecture. This spectacular hallway was comprised of a series of seemingly endless concentric hexagons – each hexagon framed in thick, glossy calligraphy-ink black lacquer. That evening, Andrew began to sketch – big, faceted gems, framed by concentric hexagons of rich deep yellow gold and inky black enamel, the first of his Museum Series designs.

Andrew Glassford’s Museum Series continues to evolve; however, you will find each piece remains true to its original inspiration and incorporates classic Art Deco elements – highly symmetrical and streamlined structures, bold gems and jewel-tone colors, luxurious and opulent materials. Museum Series pieces are geometrically shaped, boldly designed, timelessly elegant and bring glamor and modernity to the wearer.

International orders are shipped FedEx insured signature required delivery. Delivery windows vary by country but are commonly 2-3 days and generally not longer than 5 days (unless a box is delayed in customs). Please note any applicable duties imposed by the country we are shipping to are the responsibility of the customer. We are unable to calculate any duties which may be imposed and we do not collect duties at the time of sale.
