Uniquely designed, coined the ‘Flip Ring,’ this octagon shaped ring sits ‘east – west’ is two rings in one, with 1.1 ctw bright round brilliant rich Red Pomme Rubies accented by inky black enamel on one side – and 1 ctw sparkling verdant round brilliant Emeralds accented by a black enamel halo on the other. A hinge on each side locks it into place so it stays flat on your hand. This ring is awe-inspiring… its architecture, form and function.

Part of designer Andrew Glassford’s ‘Museum Series,’ this convertible ring is a true statement piece and a chic addition to anyone’s jewelry collection. This ring is a size 7. This piece is part of the Museum Series, a multi-generational collection which reflects designer Andrew Glassford’s penchants for travel, love of Art Deco, and use of architectural elements in his creations. The inspiration for this series came from an unlike source – a hallway. In 2016, designer Andrew Glassford visited the newly opened ‘Overseas Chinese Fine Arts Museum’ in Guilin China, where he was awestruck the hallways – the ‘zoulang,’ – which connected the multiple gallery buildings around a central garden, in the traditional Siheyuan (Courtyard House) architecture. This spectacular hallway was comprised of a series of seemingly endless concentric hexagons – each hexagon framed in thick, glossy calligraphy-ink black enamel. That evening, Andrew began to sketch – big, faceted gems, framed by concentric hexagons of rich deep yellow gold and inky black lacquer, the first of his Museum Series designs.
